Every Thursday at 7 p.m. a group of runners meets on the corner of Lincoln Road and Washington Ave. in front of MR. R's Sports in Miami Beach.

It doesn't matter how fast or slow you are. Or how far you want to run. What matters is whether you put the time into it. There are several pacers who lead the groups and there is a pace setter for almost every speed. The shortest run is about 2 miles and the longest can get up to 6.

The objective is to make Miami Beach have a club that takes advantage of its culture, sights, and sounds and enjoy others company while staying fit and healthy. Stress that this is primarily considered a fitness club. It is absolutely free. Members...
